NSHA Speaker Congratulates Governor Sule On Victory At Supreme Court

The judgement of the Supreme Court affirming the election of Governor Abdullahi Sule has been described as victory for the people of Nasarawa State.
Mr Danladi Jatau, the Speaker of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly(NSHA) made this known on Friday morning after the apex court delivered its judgement in the appeal filed by David Ombugadu of the People’s Democratic Party(PDP).
According to Jatau(APC, Kokona West), the verdict of the apex court was a clear manifestation of the people’s mandate given to Governor Sule during the general election in the State.
He lauded the justices of the apex court for delivering a judgement that reflects the wishes, aspirations and decisions of the generality of the people.
The Speaker also lauded the Governor’s legal team led by Chief Wole Olanipekun, for doing a great job by defending and proven their case convincingly.
Jatau called on the people of the State irrespective of their political, religious and ethnic differences to support and joined hand with the present administration in order to deliver the much needed dividends of democracy.
