The Senate of Nasarawa State University, Keffi, at its 128th Regular Meeting held on Thursday 24th April, 2025 considered the request of the Visitor to the University, Engr. Abdullahi A. Sule, FNSE, FNMGS, that the Senate of the University should temper justice with mercy and consider the need to recall the students who were rusticated for One (1) Academic Session for their involvement in the SUG Election crisis to enable them continue their academic pursuit.

This appeal was reiterated by the Visitor during his speech at the 4th Stakeholders Meeting held on Tuesday 22nd April 2025.

The rusticated students are; Yunusa Baduku, Faith Gimba, Sani Sunday Ason, David Batholomew, and Yohanna Abeson Joshua.
