BREAKING:Pres.Tinubu Sacks Five Ministers, Appoints Seven New Ministers
President Bola Tinubu has appointed seven new ministers to his cabinet.
The appointment was announced in a statement issued by the presidency after the federal executive council meeting on Wednesday
Months after growing calls for President Bola Tinubu to rejig his cabinet, the former Lagos State governor on Wednesday sacked five of his ministers.
He also re-assigned 10 ministers to new ministerial portfolios and appointed seven new ministers for Senate confirmation. “The appointment of Shehu Dikko as Chairman of the National Sports Commission.
The appointment of Sunday Akin Dare as Special Adviser to the President on Public Communication and Orientation working from the Ministry of Information and National Orientation,” the Presidency said.
Also,Ojukwu’s widow, others join President Tinubu’s cabinet.
Bianca Odinaka Odumegu-Ojukwu was appointed as minister of state foreign affairs while Jumoke Oduwole was named the minister of industry, trade and investment. Five other individuals were also appointed as new ministers.
