The four siblings who were kidnapped in Kaduna State have regained their freedom.
 
Details of the development are still sketchy at the time of filing this report but it was gathered that the victims were rescued by security agents on Monday, December 2, 2024.
 
National Security Adviser, Malam Nuhu Ribadu, handed over the rescued children to the Kaduna State Governor, Uba Sani.
 
LIB reported that the four children, including a toddler, were abducted from their parents' home in Keke A, Chikun Local Government Area of the state last Tuesday night.
 
The incident occurred when their father, Adamu Yunusa, went to visit his wife, Aisha Kabir, who was taking care of their sick twins admitted to a nearby hospital.
 
The abductors later contacted Yunusa and demanded N300m ransom, threatening to kill the children if they failed to pay the money.
 
The kidnappers later reduced the ransom to N25m, which the father said he still could not afford.
