Premier League announces fixtures for 2025/2026
There will be 33 weekend rounds during the next Premier League season, with the remaining five fixtures scheduled for midweek.

All 380 of next season's Premier League matches will be revealed at 9am UK time on Wednesday 18 June.
That will confirm the order in which we will face our opponents and the initial match dates, although those dates and the kick-off times could change due to TV broadcast selections and participation in European and domestic cup competitions.

The first round of games will begin on Saturday 16 August 2025, 83 days after our 2024/25 Premier League season came to an end at the City Ground.
The final fixtures will be played on Sunday 24 May 2026, with all those matches kicking off simultaneously on the same day as usual, and ensuring the Premier League season will finish before national teams submit their squads for next summer's FIFA World Cup.
There will also be no Premier League fixtures on Christmas Eve next season, while there will be a gap of at least 60 hours between any two matches involving the same team over the festive period.

Which teams have been promoted to the Premier League for 2025/26?
Following the relegation of Leicester City, Ipswich Town and Southampton at the end of 2024/25, there will be three new, but familiar, opponents for Chelsea next season, with none of the three promoted sides being newcomers to the Premier League.
The Blues' old rivals Leeds United return from a two-year absence as Championship winners, joined by second-placed Burnley, who bounced straight back from their relegation in 2024. Sunderland have had the longest absence of the newly promoted teams, beating Sheffield United in the play-off final to get back to the Premier League for the first time since 2017.
