JUST-IN; Police apprehend 200L FULafia student, seize locally-fabricated Beretta pistol, four live ammunition, and charms.

A 25-year-old Student of the Federal University of Lafia(FULafia), Daniel Favour, has been arrested by the operatives of the Nasarawa State Police Command’s Anti-Kidnapping Unit.
The suspect, a 200-level student of the institution’s Department of Social Works was arrested on Thursday December 28, acting based on credible information.
The state’s Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Ramhan Nansel made this known in a statement on Friday.
“A search warrant was executed at his residence where one locally fabricated Beretta pistol, four (4) live ammunition, and criminal charms/herbs were recovered as exhibits,” the statement reads further.
Gandu, a neighbouring community to the University where hundreds of its students and staff resides had recently witnessed a surge in kidnapping cases.
