JUST-IN:FG holds meeting with SSANU,NASU

An important meeting was held between the Federal Government and leadership of JAC (SSANU & NASU).
Federal Government team was led by the Minister of Education, Prof. Tahir Mamman, in attendance are Honorable Minister of State for Education, Dr. Yusuf Sununu, Permanent Secretary of Federal Ministry of Education, Andrew Adejo while JAC team are the National President of SSANU, Comrade M. H. Ibrahim fnipr, President of NASU, Comrade Hassan Makolo, General Secretary of NASU, Comrade Peters Adeyemi, Comrade Leku Ador, Comrade Salaam Abdussobur, Comrade Jaafar Bage and Comrade Emmanuel Item.
The primary focus of the meeting was to address issues regarding withheld salaries, increment of salaries, and other agreements earlier signed.
However,The meeting was that of familiarisation and synergy. There was nothing like the signing of any document in any form, but the meeting no doubt discussed and addressed various pending issues between the two Unions (SSANU & NASU) and Government including but not limited to withheld salaries and renegotiation of 2009 agreement.
