The Nasarawa State University are set to Introduce a Third Semester for Students with Academic Challenges.
This was concluded by the school Senate, at its 118th Regular Meeting on May 30, 2024,which approved the implementation of a third semester for students facing academic challenges. The decision came after considering a committee report on modalities for the program,Noting that the third semester will commence immediately after the second semester results are released.
However,The third semester aims to support students with carryover or spill-over courses, as well as those who missed exams or semesters due to unpaid school fees, late admissions, illness, or other related reasons.
The third semester will be runned for eight weeks (six weeks of lectures in online and physical modes, and two weeks of examinations).
Eligible Students are expected to pay a sum of #20,000 per course to the school management.
