"Only Islamic law can change this country" Nigerian man says
It also comes just two weeks after a bill seeking to make Sharia law

A man from northern Nigeria has said that only Islamic law can change Nigeria.
The X user with the handle @sarki_sultan tweeted: "Call me whatsoever, but only Islamic law can change this country."

According to the X user's bio, he lives in the UK.
This comes amid outrage over President Bola Tinubu attending the Joint Arab-Islamic Summit in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, earlier this week, with Nigerians asking if Nigeria is now an Islamic nation.
It also comes just two weeks after a bill seeking to make Sharia law not just a personal matter in the constitution was rejected in the House of Representatives.
Bamidele Salam, a lawmaker from Osun State, said the bill should be rejected because it has the potential to derail the freedom enjoyed by all religions in Nigeria.
