In his response, Professor Suleiman Bala Mohammed thanked the ANUPA NSUK chapter for recognizing his modest contributions to the growth and development of the Registry Department, he commended ANUPA for being proactive and bringing life to the association through training and retraining its members, stressing that his administration will continue to encourage and support the Registry department to attain higher heights through sponsorships of training and workshops.
Earlier in her address of welcome, the chairperson of the ANUPA NSUK chapter, Barrister Ramatu Ahmed Liman stressed the importance of the training and remarked that given the importance of staff training and re-training and the fact that not all ANUPA members can enjoy sponsorship all the time is the reason that this platform is provided to allow beneficiaries of sponsored training to give a step down of whatever they have learnt to others who have not been trained within the system to also benefit.
In his remark, special guest of honour at the opening ceremony and immediate past Registrar of the University, Alhaji Dalhatu O. Mamman thanked the Vice-Chancellor and Registrar for the massive development and growth the department has enjoyed under their respective stewardship.
The high point of the 2-day Step-Down and In-House Training which commenced from Monday 20th November 2023 to Tuesday 21st November 2023 was the presentation of certificates to the participants.
