Man Apprehended Over Alleged Child Stealing In Lafia

A man has been apprehended for allegedly attempting to steal a child in Lafia, the Nasarawa State capital.
The suspect was apprehended by residents of the area, a Facebook user, Hrm Queen Ene, confirmed the incident in a post on Wednesday afternoon.
Ene who said the victim is her neighbour's child hinged the act on desperation to make fast money.
The incident occurred behind First Bank, Lafia on Wednesday.
A source however claimed the suspect is mentally unstable.
Parents and guardians have therefore been urged to closely monitor the movement of their children.
