JUST-IN:COE Akwanga Bans Sign-Out Celebration For Graduating Students
The management of the Nasarawa State College of Education, Akwanga has banned final-year students from engaging in sign-out or graduation celebration.
In a circular signed by James H. Angbre on behalf of the Registrar, the state owned institution said the directive takes effect immediately.
Angbre alleged that some conduct exhibited by students after their final paper in the name of sign-out was against the College’s rules as enshrined in the Students’ Information Handbook, section 2.0, subsections 2.2, 2.3 & 2.4, hence the ban.
The management warned that failure to comply with the directive would attract severe sanctions.
The state-owned Isa Mustapha Agwai Polytechnic (IMAP), Lafia was the first tertiary institution to ban sign-out celebration by graduating students.
