The President of Rwanda, Paul Kagame, on Sunday, October 22, hosted singer, Divine Ikubor, popularly known as Rema, at the presidential palace in Kigal
Rema, in a video on Monday, October 23, during his visit to the president said: “Coming to Rwanda, it gives me that vibe of a place where I can rest and feel at home without having to travel oversea
“A lot of time we just want to take that break, we just want to lay back… I feel like with here we can have serene energy, that vibe. And I feel like it’s even going to be a bigger thing when we [Africans] start uniting. I must say thank you so much, Mr President
Rema was in Kigali to participate in the 2023 Trace Music Awards where he received two awards: the Global African Artist of the Year and Song of the Year for his hit track 'Calm Down
